Lucerne (15ha fodder)
We are proponents of animal health. Our Lucerne is high in quality and remarkably digestible. We supply to local farmers, national markets that extend to the Eastern Cape and export to Namibia. Our market foothold has grown over the years hence we vow to continue producing the very best in green feed as a solid source of energy for livestock. We grow aided with the best technical advice and adhere to best practices in all aspects.
Current activities include soil preparation for an additional 12ha of fodder also set to be diversified with other cash crops such as Maize.
Horticulture Crops (wine grapes)
We currently under contract with Orange River Cellars having made our foray into the production of wine grapes with vineyards established in 2015 and 2016. This industry will soon count us in as one of the topmost producers of Colombar and Chenin Blanch (16ha) cultivars for the production of white wine.
Albeit our early beginning, we boasts all necessary mechanization assets such as a tractor (4x4Kw Y20), equipment such as among others; 8 disc plough, 1 x slasher, 1 x fertilizer spreader, walblok.
